New MotoGP Regulations: Injured Rider Testing, Grid Games at Le Mans

MotoGP announced new rules about testing for injured riders, as well as grid procedures and penalties effective immediately starting with the FrenchGP. I analyze the changes and tell you what I think on this Patreon-first episode of the show!

The Rundown:

• The Injured Rider Testing Rule – whether it works as written, and why I think going a step further might actually make the rule easier to implement
• New grid procedures – simple and straightforward, but can Marc still manipulate them?
• 2027 Rule Package Testing – everyone agrees to make it fair. For now. But it is most certainly not a testing ban for all of 2025
• The ‘Hair Rule’ – something must have happened, but who knows what
